Established in 2003 by Ian Willoughby, IWE is an NICEIC-registered electrical company.

Based at Skippers Lane, Middlesbrough, we are a team of time-served electrical installation specialists who deal with all manner of electrical work, predominantly in the Tees Valley area.

We offer a comprehensive after sales service, including maintenance and emergency cover.

Ian Willoughby (Managing Director)

A Joint Industrial Board qualified approved electrician, Ian worked in a number of industrial sectors before starting his own business - a career which took him to some of the UK’s biggest industrial plants (including Sellafield), to some of the biggest construction projects in the world (including the Channel Tunnel), and to offshore sites all around the world. Today, he puts his accumulated knowledge and experience to work on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects.

IWE Quality Assurance

IWE prides itself in providing a prompt, professional and reliable service. All installation work is carried out to the highest industry standards as regulated by the NICEIC and work practices are independently certified to BS 7671 current IEE wiring regulations.

All electricians hold the CSCS Safety Passport and wear official company work clothing and PPE at all times.

We are committed to continual development and all our staff members, regardless of rank or experience, attend regular ECA safety courses to stay abreast of the latest regulations and best practice.
